36 (appears in late twenties) | magical | bisexual | vampire
Anastasia grew up in the LA area, raised by two Romanian immigrants. She grew up seeing the wealth and the power, and wanted some for herself. She supported her slow and unsuccessful minor acting career by being a waitress, and it was one night walking home from work when she was attacked and turned. She never knew the vampire who turned her, but she was guided by another for some time until they parted ways. And that's when she took her place in the LA market.
Generally, she never took part. She'd turn people, allure them in with promises of power and immortality, and trust them to run things.... just not officially in her name, of course. She wasn't too squeamish about turning as many people as she needed, and generally, well, they were abandoning them either. She ran this operation for about seven years, enjoying the benefits, before a series of hunter launched attacks on the more illicit parts of the market forced her to flee with a portion of her wealth. She moved around the country for a year, before settling in a small Georgia town for some time (she still owns the home, which she's restoring), and then decided to take up a primary residence in New Orleans.
She'll be soon to begin on the market again, more than likely, since she's still uncertain whether it would be safe to access the accounts she has, though she knows if she had to she would be able to find a way to do it.
Generally, she would have some associates from her time in LA. However, there would be very few "employees" left; slayers cleaned the house very well, so to say, and a lot of the abandoned ones were arrested for the jobs they were preforming for her. She'd probably have a few enemies within the magical community, and while she wouldn't be top priority for any slayer groups, she'd probably be somewhere on their wanted list.
