Born and raised in the area surrounding New Orleans, Sebastian had a lot of exposure to the various New Orleans magical factions while growing up, which is probably why he's taken the role as a mediator in his adult like. Despite hating the various politics, he knows no one else will moderate and calm a situation, and with his inner knowledge he can know exactly which group is more in the wrong. He's... generally unhappy with the entire thing, but he still does it, and he's seen in rather good light by the various magical beings around the city.

His real preference for activity is making potions. He owns a small stall in the market that he keeps stocked with various staples, and very eagerly takes requests for a whole bunch of things. He makes wolfsband potions for at least one pack in the city, and several newer vampires request synthetic blood, so generally he keeps busy. The busier he is, the less he grooms himself, and it's a common joke to those who know him that the worse his beard looks, the more he's been working recently.
